# floatlabelededittext

floatlabelededittext : Simple implementation of a Float Labeled TextField. An OHOS component which uses a child TextField and puts the hint on top of the TextField when it is populated with text.

floatlabelededittext includes
* Puts the hint on top of the TextField when it is populated with text.
* Add padding,background and hint text color.


# Usage Instructions
Add namespace for float in layout root.
```
xmlns:float="http://schemas.huawei.com/hap/res-auto"
```

Include floatlabelededittext inside the layout with the required content/child component as below :

# Installation Instructions
1.For using floatlabelededittext module in sample application, include the below library dependency to generate hap/library.har.

Modify entry build.gradle as below :
```
dependencies {
    implementation project(path: ':library')
}
```

2.For using floatlabelededittext in separate application, add the "library.har" in libs folder of "entry" module.

Modify entry build.gradle as below :

```
dependencies {
    implementation fileTree(dir: 'libs', include: ['*.har'])
}
```
   
3 .For using floatlabelededittext from a remote repository in separate application, add the below dependency in entry/build.gradle file.
 
 Modify entry build.gradle as below :
             
             
             ```gradle
             dependencies {
                    implementation 'io.openharmony.tpc.thirdlib:floatlabelededittext:1.0.0'
             }
             ```
