Application Manager is a software installation tool for Debian 

Application Manager is released under the terms of the GNU General Public

*BUILDING*

ApplicationManager is a GNOME2 program and uses the GnomeMM C++ bindings for
GTK/GNOME.

GNOME CVS modules, in build order:
  sigc-1.1    (http://libsigc.sourceforge.net)
  gtkmm-1.3   (http://gtkmm.sourceforge.net)
  gnomemm     (http://gtkmm.sourceforge.net)

Additionally the libapt-pkg-dev package should be installed.
