this is gnio - the network abstraction library based on gio.

in order to build gnio you will need the 'gresolver' branch of glib available
from git://git.desrt.ca/glib.

optionally, if gobject-introspection is installed (with Gio-2.0.gir generated
after the gresolver branch was installed) then a gnio.gir file will be
produced and installed.  you need at least version 0.6.3.

optionally, if vala is installed (and was configured with --enable-vapigen)
then a .vapi file will be produced and installed.  you need at least version
0.5.7.
