That is, written instructions for carrying out manual tests of GNOME applications. The tests are divided into the following subdirectories: components - tests for standard GNOME programs and applets nautilus/func - functional tests for the Nautilus application from Eazel; also negative tests, which test against the occurance of certain error conditions. nautilus/regress - regression tests for specific Nautilus bug fixes nautilus/sanity - a subset of the functional tests evolution/calendar - tests for the Calendaring functionality in Evolution by Ximian evolution/contacts - tests for the Contacts Manager functionality in Evolution evolution/mail - tests for the eMail functionality in Evolution evolution/int - integration for integration of the Evolution functionalty evolution/hotkeys - tests of the hotkeys in Evolution evolution/myevol - tests of the my evolution component evolution/multihead_support - tests of multiheaded support for Evolution evolution/tasks - tests for the Tasks modulke within Evolutiona install - tests for the Solaris installation of the Gnome Desktop interop - tests for CDE/Gnome exercising GTK+ text widget functionality The tests are all in HTML format, and are intended to be viewed by a frames-compatible browser. The test results are also intended to be recorded on-line with the included CGI script. Usage ===== To begin viewing the test specs, point your browser to the location where you installed the "gnome_test" directory, eg "http://my.domain.com/gnome_test/".
