Please do not make any commits to this branch unless you are doing translations, in which case please do commit, we could use them. Aside from reviewing for security, there isn't much here that will likely interest you except for the GnomeTransfer, GnomeProcess, and GnomePipe classes, found in gnome-transfer.[ch], gnome-process.[ch], and gnome-pipe.[ch], respectively. It doesn't use autoconf and automake, because we only build it on a few systems with similar (or identical) directory layouts. Since you have to build it statically, all of the support libraries need to be built with static-linking support. No, I won't help you build it.
