It requires libburn, available via CVS from freedesktop.org. To get libburn, run the following commands: cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs@cvs.freedesktop.org:/cvs/burn login cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs@cvs.freedesktop.org:/cvs/burn co -P burn When prompted for a password, just press 'enter'. Build and install libburn, then build and install Optimystic. More information on libburn is available at http://icculus.org/burn. Status: Optimystic is still in development. The libburn backend it depends is not fully functional yet, so Optimystic's abilities may fluctuate often. Currently, CD burning of any kind is not operational. A re-write of the internal CD data representation is currently underway. A new CDFileList widget is being implemented, which will provide a complete and reusable framework for creating a list of files to burn to CDs.
